Product Overview
Description:
Human NACHT, LRR and PYD domains-containing protein 6 (NLRP6) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of NLRP6 in human samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on NLRP6 antibody-NLRP6 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect NLRP6 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
NLRP6 is a pattern recognition receptor and a key component of the inflammasome, primarily expressed in intestinal epithelial cells, liver, and adipose tissue. The NLRP6 inflammasome regulates gut microbiota composition and mucosal barrier integrity; its absence leads to dysbiosis, promotes hepatic steatosis and insulin resistance, indicating its role as a crucial immunoregulatory link between gut health, hepatic metabolism, and obesity.
Synonyms:
AVR; NAVR; PAN3; NALP6; PYPAF5; CLR11.4; NAVR/AVR; Angiotensin II/vasopressin receptor; PYRIN-containing APAF1-like protein 5
Applications:
Human NACHT, LRR and PYD domains-containing protein 6 (NLRP6) ELISA kit is used to quantify NLRP6 in human samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including inflammation, obesity, etc.
