Product Overview
Description:
Human long-chain-fatty-acid-CoA ligase 4 (ACSL4) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing human ACSL4 levels with a detection range of 3.12-100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 1.0 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on ACSL4 antibody-ACSL4 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACSL4 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ACSL4 activates long-chain fatty acids for the synthesis of cellular lipids and degradation via β-oxidation, and plays a crucial role in a variety of biological processes, including lipid metabolism and energy metabolism.
Synonyms:
ACSL4; LACS4; Long-chain acyl-CoA synthetase 4; FACL4; Fatty-acid-Coenzyme A ligase 4; Acyl-CoA synthetase long-chain family member 4; EC 6.2.1.3
Applications:
Human long-chain-fatty-acid--CoA ligase 4 (ACSL4) ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ACSL4 levels in human biological samples.
Research Area:
Lipid synthesis and metabolism; Obesity
