Description:
Human ectonucleotide pyrophosphatase/phosphodiesterase-1 (ENPP1) ELISA kit (0.156-10 ng/mL, 0.094 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of ENPP1 in human with a range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a specificity of 0.094 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The anti-human ENPP1 antibody is pre-coated onto a 96-well plate. Biotin-conjugated anti-human ENPP1 antibody is used as the detection antibody. Standards, test samples, and biotin-conjugated detection antibody are subsequently added to the wells and washed with buffer. HRP-streptavidin is added, and the unbound conjugate is washed away with washing solution. TMB substrate is used to observe the HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB produces a blue product catalyzed by HRP, which turns yellow upon the addition of acidic termination solution. The density of yellow color is proportional to the amount of human ENPP1 sample captured in the plate. The concentration of human ENPP1 can be calculated by reading the absorbance at 450nm with a microplate reader.

ENPP1 is a member of the ENPP family, which has broad specificity and cleaves various substrates. It is primarily involved in ATP hydrolysis at the plasma membrane, playing a role in regulating pyrophosphate levels, bone mineralization, and soft tissue calcification.
