Product Overview
Description:
Human ATP-citrate synthase (ACLY) ELISA kit (1.56-100 U/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing human ACLY levels with a detection range of 1.56-100 U/mL and a sensitivity of 0.35 U/mL. This kit has high sensitivity and excellent specificity.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on ACLY antibody-ACLY antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACLY antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ACLY is the major enzyme responsible for the synthesis of cytoplasmic acetyl-CoA in many tissues. The product it catalyzes, acetyl-CoA, is used in several important biosynthetic pathways, including cholesterogenesis and lipogenesis.
Synonyms:
ATP-citrate lyase; ACL; Citrate cleavage enzyme; EC 2.3.3.8
Applications:
Human ATP-citrate synthase (ACLY) ELISA kit (1.56-100 U/mL) is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ACLY levels in human biological samples.
Research Area:
Carbohydrate metabolism; Lipid metabolism; Biosynthesis; Obesity
