Description: Human alpha-ketoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase alkB homolog 3 (ALKBH3) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of ALKBH3 in human with a range of 0.25-8 ng/mL and a specificity of 0.1 ng/mL.

Assay Principle: The kit is based on ALKBH3 antibody-ALKBH3 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ALKBH3 antigenic targets in samples.

Background: ALKBH3 is a dioxygenase that repairs alkylated DNA containing 1-methyladenine (1meA) and 3-methylcytosine (3meC) by oxidative demethylation. It has a strong preference for single-stranded DNA (ssDNA).
