Product Overview
Description:
Human ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 8B (ARL8B) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of ARL8B in human. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
An antibody specific for ARL8B has been pre-coated on a microtiter plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, and any ARL8B is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing unbound material, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for ARL8B is added to the wells. After washing, avidin-conjugated horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. After washing to remove unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and the color develops in proportion to the amount of ARL8B bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background:
ARL8B is a small GTPase primarily located on lysosomes and late endosomes, known for regulating their trafficking and movement within the cell.
Synonyms:
ARF like GTPase 8B
