Description: Fish interleukin 6 (IL-6) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IL-6 in fish samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This assay utilizes a two-site sandwich ELISA format to quantify IL6 levels. A microplate is pre-immobilized with an antibody specific to IL6. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, allowing any present IL6 to be captured by the fixed antibody. After a wash step to remove unbound material, a biotin-conjugated detection antibody for IL6 is added. Following another wash, Streptavidin-conjugated HRP is introduced. After a final wash to clear unbound reagents, a substrate solution is added, and color develops in direct proportion to the amount of IL6 captured. The reaction is then terminated, and the color intensity is measured.
