Product Overview
Description:
Bovine TBC1 domain family member 1 (TBC1D1) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of TBC1D1 in porcine samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on TBC1D1 antibody-TBC1D1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect TBC1D1 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
TBC1D1 is a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) that primarily acts on Rab family small GTPases. Its core function is to negatively regulate the transport of GLUT4 transporter vesicles to the cell membrane in response to insulin or exercise stimulation. As a key regulator of glucose homeostasis, it promotes the onset and progression of obesity by modulating skeletal muscle sensitivity to insulin.
Synonyms:
KIAA1108
Applications:
Bovine TBC1 domain family member 1 (TBC1D1) ELISA kit is used to quantify TBC1D1 in bovine samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including metabolism, signal transduction, obesity, and others.
Research Area:
Metabolism; Signal transduction; Obesity
