Description: AdipoUpX™ Human TNF MMLV Particle (Overexpression) is a high-titer MMLV particle designed for the efficient and stable overexpression of the human TNF (TNF-alpha) gene. As a master pro-inflammatory cytokine, it is a primary tool for researching the inflammatory link between obesity and Type 2 Diabetes. The MMLV system's stable integration into dividing cells makes it ideal for investigating the chronic effects of inflammation in stable cell lines. The viral system offers high flexibility for customization and is verified by comprehensive quality control.

Handling Notes: Due to their high sensitivity to temperature fluctuations and damaging freeze-thaw cycles, viral particles should be aliquoted into low-protein-binding tubes immediately upon receipt to maintain titer and product integrity. This procedure must be conducted within a biosafety cabinet.

Summary: TNF encodes a potent, multifunctional proinflammatory cytokine primarily secreted by macrophages, belonging to the TNF superfamily. TNF mediates its effects by binding to its receptors (TNFRSF1A/TNFR1 and TNFRSF1B/TNFBR).
