Handling Notes:
Due to their high sensitivity to temperature fluctuations and damaging freeze-thaw cycles, viral particles should be aliquoted into low-protein-binding tubes immediately upon receipt to maintain titer and product integrity. This procedure must be conducted within a biosafety cabinet.

Summary:
ADRB2 encodes the beta-2-adrenergic receptor, a pivotal member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily. This receptor is functionally unique as it forms a direct signaling complex with its ultimate effector, the Ca(V)1.2 L-type calcium channel. This tight receptor-channel assembly, which also includes a G protein, adenylyl cyclase, and kinases, ensures specific and rapid signal transduction. ADRB2 also acts as a transcriptional regulator of the alpha-synuclein gene, linking it to the risk of Parkinson's Disease.
