Product Overview

Description: AdipoUpX™ Human ACLY Ad5 Adenoviral Particle (Overexpression) is a ready-to-use Ad5 adenovirus vector particle designed for the efficient transient overexpression of the human ACLY gene. It enables researchers to study the central engine of lipid construction, converting citrate to acetyl-CoA for fatty acid and cholesterol synthesis. This product is supported by flexible reporter gene selection and comprehensive quality control screening to ensure the highest standards for metabolic research.
Production Cell Line: HEK293
Viral Backbone: Adenovirus type5 (dE1/E3)
Promoter: CMV
Product Availability: Produced Upon Order

Specification

Titer Test: qPCR
Insert Verification: All viral preparations have been validated via PCR to confirm the integrity of their vector genomes.
Sterility Test: This product was confirmed to be sterile upon testing.
Mycoplasma Test: This product has passed quality control, confirming that it is free of mycoplasma contamination.
Other QC: We perform customized supplementary testing and in vitro/in vivo transduction assessments based on specific project requirements to analyze the expression levels and biological functions of transgenes.
Storage: Upon receipt of viral preparations, they must be immediately transferred to a -80°C environment for long-term storage.
Stability: The product guarantees excellent stability for 6-12 months when stored continuously at -80°C (and in some cases, up to 2 years). Upon thawing, the working solution is refrigerated at 4°C for up to 2-3 weeks without significant loss of biological activity.
Shipping Condition: Our adenovirus viral products are shipped using dry ice.
Handling Notes: Viral particles are highly sensitive to temperature fluctuations and freeze-thaw cycles. To maintain titer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, it is recommended to aliquot the vector immediately upon receipt into low-protein-binding tubes and store according to specified conditions. Ensure all operations are performed within a biosafety cabinet.
Intended Use: This product is intended for research use only and is not for use in diagnosis or therapeutic applications.
Product Disclaimer: Our company is committed to product quality, and all products have undergone rigorous internal QC inspections. Given the diversity and complexity of experimental conditions, we do not guarantee product performance or experimental results in any specific application. Users bear ultimate responsibility for product storage, handling, and compliance with all safety protocols, laws, regulations, and biosafety requirements throughout all operational processes.

Target Profile

Gene Name: ACLY
Full Name: ATP citrate lyase
Gene Symbol: ACL; ATPCL; CLATP
Gene ID: 47
RefSeq ID-1: NP_001087.2
RefSeq ID-2: NM_001096.2
Summary: ACLY encodes ATP citrate lyase, a cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the ATP-dependent conversion of citrate and coenzyme A into acetyl-CoA and oxaloacetate. Structurally, the enzyme functions as a tetramer composed of four similar subunits. The acetyl-CoA generated by ACLY serves as a central metabolic intermediate that fuels lipogenesis and cholesterol biosynthesis, processes that are markedly enhanced in obesity and metabolic syndrome. Elevated ACLY activity promotes fatty acid synthesis in the liver and adipose tissue, contributing to lipid accumulation. In the nervous system, ACLY may also participate in acetylcholine production. Multiple alternatively spliced transcripts encoding distinct isoforms have been identified.
