Product Overview
Description:
Rat beta-2 adrenergic receptor (ADRB2) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing rat ADRB2 levels with a detection range of 0.5-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on ADRB2 antibody-ADRB2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ADRB2 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ADRB2, the β-adrenergic receptor, regulates the metabolism and phenotype of adipose and skeletal muscle tissues, and its polymorphisms are associated with body composition and obesity. Based on its role in obesity, targeting ADRB2 is an attractive target in anti-obesity drug development.
Synonyms:
β2AR; β2-AR; Beta-2 adrenoceptor; B2AR
Applications:
Rat beta-2 adrenergic receptor (ADRB2) ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ADRB2 levels in rat serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid, and tissue homogenate samples.
Research Area:
Signaling pathway; Endocytosis; Brown fat cell differentiation; Hormone research; Obesity
