Product Overview
Description:
Rat acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family member 11 (ACAD11) ELISA kit is a ready-to-use microwell, strip, or full plate ELISA kit for analyzing rat ACAD11 levels.
Assay Principle:
The assay uses a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantify ACAD11 in samples. An antibody specific for ACAD11 has been pre-coated on a microtiter plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells, and any ACAD11 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removal of unbound material, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for ACAD11 is added to the wells. After washing, streptavidin-conjugated HRP is added to the wells. After washing to remove unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells, and the color is then developed proportionally to the amount of ACAD11 bound in the first step. The color development is stopped, and the intensity of the color is measured.
Background:
ACAD11 belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family and is involved in beta-oxidation and fatty acid synthesis.
Synonyms:
ACAD-11; Acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase family, member 11; EC 1.3.99.-
