Description:
Porcine fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) ELISA kit (15.6-1000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of FGF21 in porcine samples with a range of 15.6-1000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 5.9 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
This kit utilizes the sandwich enzyme immunoassay principle. The provided microtiter plate is pre-immobilized with an antibody specific to FGF21. Standards or samples are added to the wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to FGF21. Next, avidin-HRP is added and incubated. Upon the addition of TMB substrate, color development occurs only in wells containing the FGF21 sandwich complex. The enzymatic reaction is terminated with sulphuric acid, and the color change is measured at 450 nm ± 10 nm. The FGF21 concentration is determined by comparing the sample O.D. to the standard curve.
