Product Overview
Description:
Mouse visfatin (VF) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of VF in mouse samples with a range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 13.2 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on VF antibody-VF antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect VF antigen targets in samples.
Background:
Visfatin (VF) is a secreted adipokine and intracellular enzyme involved in nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) biosynthesis. It plays a role in regulating glucose metabolism, insulin secretion, and inflammatory responses, and is expressed in adipose tissue as well as other organs. By linking metabolic and inflammatory pathways, visfatin contributes to the maintenance of energy homeostasis and cellular function.
Synonyms:
Pre-B-cell colony enhancing factor; Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase; Nampt; NAmPRTase; PBEF; PBEF1
Applications:
Mouse visfatin (VF) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is used to quantify VF in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids of mice, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including metabolism, cardiovascular biology, hepatology, obesity, and others.
