Product Overview
Description:
Mouse retinoid X receptor beta (Rxrb) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of Rxrb in mouse samples with a range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.165 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on Rxrb antibody-Rxrb antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Rxrb antigen targets in samples.
Background:
RXRB: Receptor for retinoic acid. Retinoic acid receptors bind as heterodimers to their target response elements in response to their ligands; all-trans or 9-cis retinoic acid; and regulate gene expression in various biological processes. The RAR/RXR heterodimers bind to the retinoic acid response elements (RARE) composed of tandem 5'-AGGTCA-3' sites known as DR1-DR5. Specifically binds 9-cis retinoic acid (9C-RA). Homodimer. Heterodimer with a RAR molecule. Binds DNA preferentially as a RAR/RXR heterodimer. Expressed in a variety of tumor cell lines. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR2 subfamily.Protein type: DNA-binding; Nuclear receptorCellular Component: nucleusMolecular Function: DNA binding; ligand-dependent nuclear receptor activity; metal ion binding; protein binding; protein heterodimerization activity; protein homodimerization activity; retinoic acid receptor binding; retinoid-X receptor activity; sequence-specific DNA binding; steroid hormone receptor activity; thyroid hormone receptor binding; thyroid hormone receptor coactivator activity; transcription factor activity; vitamin D receptor binding; zinc ion bindingBiological Process: cardiac muscle cell proliferation; in utero embryonic development; maternal placenta development; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; regulation of myelination; regulation of transcription; DNA-dependent; retinoic acid receptor signaling pathway; steroid hormone mediated signaling; transcription; DNA-dependent; ventricular cardiac muscle cell differentiation
