Description: Mouse peptide YY (PYY) ELISA kit (12.35-1000 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PYY in mouse samples with a range of 12.35-1000 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 4.64 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: This kit employs a competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. A monoclonal antibody specific to PYY is pre-coated onto the microplate. A competitive reaction is initiated between biotin-labeled PYY and unlabeled PYY (standards or samples) for the pre-coated antibody sites. After incubation, unbound conjugates are washed away, and Avidin-conjugated HRP is added to each well. Upon the addition of the substrate solution, the intensity of the color developed is inversely proportional to the concentration of PYY in the sample, allowing for accurate quantification via a standard curve.
