Product Overview
Description:
Mouse agouti-related protein (AGRP) ELISA kit (78.125-5000 pg/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing mouse AGRP levels with a detection range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 28 pg/mL.
Assay Principle:
This kit is based on the AGRP antibody-AGRP antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and the HRP colorimetric detection system for the detection of AGRP antigen targets in samples.
Background:
AGRP plays a role in body weight homeostasis, is involved in the control of eating behavior through the central melanocortin system, and acts as an inverse agonist of MC3R and MC4R, thereby inhibiting their constitutive activity. Genetic variants in AGRP may be responsible for obesity.
Synonyms:
Agouti-related peptide; ASIP2
Applications:
Mouse agouti-related protein (AGRP) ELISA kit (78.125-5000 pg/mL) is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of AGRP levels in mouse serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.
Research Area:
Hormone research; Eating behavior; Signaling pathway; Obesity
