Product Overview
Description:
Human peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) ELISA kit (0.16-10 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PPARδ in human samples with a range of 0.16-10 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.1 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to human PPARδ. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells to combine with the specific antibody. Then, a biotinylated detection antibody specific for human PPARδ and an Avidin-HRP conjugate are added successively to each microplate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well; only those wells that contain human PPARδ, biotinylated detection antibody, and avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of the stop solution, and the color turns yellow. The OD is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of human PPARδ, which can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Background:
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor that regulates gene expression involved in fatty acid transport, beta-oxidation, and lipid metabolism. Activated by polyunsaturated fatty acids and other ligands, PPARδ promotes energy expenditure, fatty acid catabolism, and transcription of metabolic genes, contributing to the regulation of glucose and lipid homeostasis. Dysregulation of PPARδ activity can impair lipid metabolism and energy balance, linking it to obesity and related metabolic disorders.
Synonyms:
PPARD; PPARd; PPAR-delta; Nuclear hormone receptor 1; NUC1
