Product Overview

Description: Human mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 14 (MAP3K14) ELISA kit (0.25-8 ng/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of MAP3K14 in human samples with a range of 0.25-8 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.1 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle: The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on MAP3K14 antibody-MAP3K14 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect MAP3K14 antigen targets in samples.
Background: MAP3K14 is a serine/threonine protein kinase and a critical activator of the non-canonical NF-κB signaling pathway. The link between MAP3K14 and obesity research occurs via chronic inflammation: the obesity-induced chronic inflammatory state (driven by adipocyte stress and macrophage infiltration) relies on sustained activation of the NF-κB pathway. By activating this pathway, MAP3K14 participates in regulating adipose tissue inflammation and insulin resistance, serving as a central link connecting obesity and inflammatory signaling.
Synonyms: HS; NIK; HSNIK; FTDCR1B; NF-kappa-beta-inducing kinase; HsNIK; Serine/threonine-protein kinase NIK
