Human fatty acid (FA) ELISA kit
Cat. No.:
OB0625WXX-786
Assay Type:
Quantitative sandwich ELISA
Target Species:
Human
Assay Target:
FA
Size:
Add to basket
Product Overview
Description:
Human fatty acid (FA) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of FA in human with a range of 3.12-200 nmol/mL and a specificity of up to 0.6 nmol/mL.
Assay Principle:
The pre-coated antibody is a human FA monoclonal antibody, and the detection antibody is a biotin-labeled polyclonal antibody. The samples and biotin-labeled antibodies are added to the ELISA plate wells and rinsed with PBS or TBS. Avidin-peroxidase conjugate is then sequentially added to the ELISA wells. The reactants are thoroughly rinsed with PBS or TBS and then colored with TMB substrate. TMB turns blue under the catalysis of peroxidase, and finally turns yellow in the presence of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with the detection factor in the sample.
Background:
Fatty acids (FAs) are carboxylic acids with an aliphatic chain and are diverse. Their metabolism can serve as a target for obesity treatment.
Synonyms:
Carboxylic acid
Applications:
Human fatty acid (FA) ELISA kit is used to quantify FA in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant samples of human, providing data to support a wide range of studies.
