Product Overview
Description:
Dog peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PPARδ in dog samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to the target antigen. Standards or samples are introduced into the appropriate microtiter plate wells along with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific for the target antigen. Subsequently, avidin-conjugated HRP is added to each microplate well and incubated. After the addition of TMB substrate solution, only wells containing the target antigen, biotin-conjugated antibody, and enzyme-conjugated avidin will exhibit a color change. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution, and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The concentration of the target antigen in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Background:
Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor that regulates gene expression involved in fatty acid transport, beta-oxidation, and lipid metabolism. Activated by polyunsaturated fatty acids and other ligands, PPARδ promotes energy expenditure, fatty acid catabolism, and transcription of metabolic genes, contributing to the regulation of glucose and lipid homeostasis. Dysregulation of PPARδ activity can impair lipid metabolism and energy balance, linking it to obesity and related metabolic disorders.
Synonyms:
PPARD; PPARd; PPAR-delta; Nuclear hormone receptor 1; NUC1
Applications:
Dog peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor delta (PPARδ) ELISA kit is used to quantify PPARδ in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatant, and other biological fluids of dogs, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including signal transduction, metabolic pathways, obesity, and others.
