Description:
Cavy enoyl coenzyme A hydratase, short chain, 1, mitochondrial (ECHS1) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of ECHS1 in cavy with high sensitivity and specificity.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on the ECHS1 antibody-ECHS1 antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and the HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ECHS1 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
ECHS1 belongs to the enoyl-CoA hydratase/isomerase family. It functions in the second step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. It catalyzes the hydration of 2-trans-enoyl-coenzyme A (CoA) intermediates to L-3-hydroxyacyl-CoAs.
