Product Overview

Description: Canine plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PAI-1 in canine samples with a range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.05 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle: This experiment employs a typical double-antibody sandwich ELISA technique. The microplate is pre-immobilized with a canine PAI1 monoclonal antibody, and a biotin-labeled polyclonal antibody is used for detection. Samples and the biotinylated antibody are added to the ELISA wells and washed with PBS or TBS. Subsequently, Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added. After the reactants are thoroughly washed away, the TMB substrate is introduced for visualization. The catalytic blue color shifts to yellow upon the addition of acid. The color intensity and the testing factors in the samples are positively correlated.
Background: As the primary physiological inhibitor of tissue-type plasminogen activator and urokinase-type plasminogen activator, PAI-1 exerts its effects by suppressing fibrinolysis and proteolysis. Its elevation is associated not only with thrombosis and fibrosis but also with obesity and insulin resistance.
Synonyms: SERPINE1; Endothelial plasminogen activator inhibitor
Applications: Canine plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is used to quantify PAI-1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, and organizations of canine, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including metabolism, fibrosis, thrombosis, obesity, etc.
Research Area: Metabolism; Fibrosis; Thrombosis; Obesity
