Product Overview
Description:
Canine apolipoprotein C-III (Apo-CIII) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of Apo-CIII in canines with highly specific, sensitive, and easy-to-use.
Assay Principle:
The kit is based on Apo-CIII antibody-Apo-CIII antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Apo-CIII antigen targets in samples.
Background:
Apolipoprotein C-III is secreted by the liver and small intestine. It is a very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) protein that inhibits lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase. Studies have found that it plays a key role in the metabolism of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRLs).
Synonyms:
ApoC-III ; ApoCIII; Apo C-III; Apo C III; Apolipoprotein CIII; APOC3
Applications:
Canine apolipoprotein C-III (Apo-CIII) ELISA kit is an important tool for the quantitative detection of Apo-CIII in various biological samples of canines.
Research Area:
Lipid metabolism; Fatty acid biosynthesis; Obesity research
