Product Overview
Description:
Bovine succinyl-coA ligase [GDP-forming] subunit beta; mitochondrial (SUCLG2) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of SUCLG2 in porcine samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on SUCLG2 antibody-SUCLG2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect SUCLG2 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
SUCLG2 is a key enzyme in the mitochondrial tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, catalyzing the conversion of succinyl-CoA to succinate while generating GTP (or ATP) via substrate-level phosphorylation. Given its role in mitochondrial function and energy metabolism, it is implicated in certain pathological activities.
Synonyms:
EC 6.2.1.4; GTP-specific succinyl-CoA synthetase subunit beta; Succinyl-CoA synthetase beta-G chain; G-SCS; GTPSCS; SCS-betaG
EC NO.:
6.2.1.4
Applications:
Bovine succinyl-coA ligase [GDP-forming] subunit beta, mitochondrial (SUCLG2) ELISA kit is used to quantify SUCLG2 in bovine samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including signal transduction, metabolism, and others.
