Description:
Rabbit interleukin 6 (IL-6) ELISA kit (3.12-200 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IL-6 in rabbit samples with a range of 3.12-200 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of <1.24 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The microtiter plate included in this kit is pre-functionalized with an antibody specific to IL-6. Samples or standards are added to the appropriate wells along with a biotinylated antibody specific for IL-6. Next, avidin-conjugated HRP is added to each microplate well and incubated. After the introduction of the TMB substrate, only those wells containing the IL-6, biotinylated antibody, and enzyme-conjugated avidin will undergo a colorimetric change. The reaction is stopped by adding a sulphuric acid solution, and the color shift is measured at 450 nm ± 10 nm. The final concentration of IL-6 is determined by mapping the O.D. of the samples against the standard curve.
