Description: Porcine interleukin 6 (IL-6) ELISA kit (1.25-80 pg/mL) is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of IL-6 in porcine samples with a range of 1.25-80 pg/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of <0.31 pg/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-immobilized with an antibody specific to IL-6. Standards or samples are added to the wells along with a HRP-conjugated monoclonal antibody specific for IL-6 and incubated. Subsequently, substrate solutions A and B are introduced. Only wells containing the IL-6 and HRP-conjugated antibody complex will demonstrate a color change. The enzymatic reaction is terminated with a sulphuric acid solution, and the absorbance is measured at 450 nm ± 2 nm. The IL-6 concentration is then determined by comparing the sample O.D. values to the standard curve.
