Product Overview
Description:
Mouse pro-melanin-concentrating hormone (PMCH) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PMCH in mouse samples with a range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a minimum detectable dose (sensitivity) of 0.164 ng/mL. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on PMCH antibody-PMCH antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect PMCH antigen targets in samples.
Background:
PMCH is a neuropeptide precursor synthesized in hypothalamic neurons, which is cleaved to generate melanocyte-concentrating hormone (MCH). MCH serves as a key neurotransmitter/neurotransmitter modulator involved in diverse neuronal functions, particularly regulating goal-directed behavior and overall arousal. PMCH and its derivative MCH represent critical targets for investigating the pathophysiology of obesity and the mechanisms governing appetite regulation.
Synonyms:
Pro-MCH
Applications:
Mouse pro-melanin-concentrating hormone (PMCH) ELISA kit-Quantitative sandwich is used to quantify PMCH in mouse samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including neuroendocrinology, energy balance, obesity, and others.
