Product Overview

Description: LipoKnoxa™ Human STEAP4 shRNA AAV Particle (Silencing) focuses on the inhibition of a key metalloreductase that modulates adipocyte inflammatory signaling and glucose metabolism. Engineered with both U6 and miR30-based shRNA frameworks, this tool allows for the exploration of insulin sensitivity in adipocytes and other cells. A diverse range of AAV serotypes is available for selection to achieve high-efficiency transduction. Each viral preparation is backed by comprehensive QC documentation, including sterility and functional titer verification.

Summary: STEAP4 encodes a Golgi-localized member of the STEAP family with metalloreductase activity, enabling the reduction of iron and copper ions in an NAD⁺-dependent manner.
