Product Overview
Description:
Human 2, 4-dienoyl-CoA reductase (DECR1) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of DECR1 in human with a range of 0.312-20 ng/mL and a specificity of 0.06 ng/mL.
Assay Principle:
The pre-coated antibody is Human DECR1 monoclonal antibody, and the detection antibody is biotin-labeled polyclonal antibody. The samples and biotin-labeled antibodies are added to the ELISA plate wells and rinsed with PBS or TBS. Avidin-peroxidase conjugate is then sequentially added to the ELISA wells. The reactants are thoroughly rinsed with PBS or TBS and then colored with TMB substrate. TMB turns blue under the catalysis of peroxidase and finally turns yellow in the presence of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with the detection factor in the sample.
Background:
DECR1 is a mitochondrial and peroxisomal enzyme essential for the complete beta-oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids.
Synonyms:
EC 1.3.1.34; 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase [(3E)-enoyl-CoA-producing], mitochondrial; 2,4-dienoyl-CoA reductase 1
