Description: Chicken growth hormone binding protein (GHBP) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of GHBP in chicken samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.

Assay Principle: The GHBP ELISA kit applies a competitive enzyme immunoassay format utilizing a monoclonal anti-GHBP antibody and a GHBP-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with the GHBP-HRP conjugate in the pre-coated plate for one hour. Because the number of antibody binding sites is limited, endogenous GHBP and the HRP-conjugate compete for these positions. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times to remove unbound material. The wells are then incubated with an HRP enzyme substrate to produce a blue colored product, which shifts to yellow after the reaction is terminated with a stop solution. The resulting color intensity, measured at 450 nm, is inversely proportional to the GHBP concentration. The concentration of GHBP in each sample is determined by comparing its O.D. to the established standard curve.
