Product Overview
Description:
Bovine plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of PAI in porcine samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on PAI-1 antibody-PAI-1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect PAI-1 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
As the primary physiological inhibitor of tissue-type plasminogen activator and urokinase-type plasminogen activator, PAI-1 exerts its effects by suppressing fibrinolysis and proteolysis. Its elevation is associated not only with thrombosis and fibrosis but also with obesity and insulin resistance.
Synonyms:
Endothelial plasminogen activator inhibitor; Serpin E1; PAI1; PLANH1; SERPINE1; Serpin family E member 1
Applications:
Bovine plasminogen activator inhibitor 1 (PAI-1) ELISA kit is used to quantify PAI-1 in bovine samples, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including inflammation, obesity, etc.
Research Area:
Inflammation; Obesity
