Product Overview
Description:
Bovine neuroendocrine secretory protein 55 (NESP55) ELISA kit is an ELISA-based in vitro research tool designed specifically for the quantitative detection of NESP55 in bovine samples. The kit is highly sensitive and easy to use.
Assay Principle:
The ELISA analytical biochemical technique is based on NESP55 antibody-NESP55 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect NESP55 antigen targets in samples.
Background:
NESP55 is a protein expressed in multiple neuroendocrine tissues, particularly in the pancreas, adrenal medulla, and hypothalamus. It belongs to a protein family known as NESP, whose members are genetically closely linked and whose expression is regulated by a specific epigenetic mechanism—imprinted genes. As an imprinted gene product, its expression is influenced by parental origin and may serve as a potential regulator of energy balance, obesity, and others.
Synonyms:
GNAS; AHO; GSA; GSP; POH; GPSA; NESP; GNAS1; PHP1A; PHP1B; PHP1C; C20orf45
Applications:
Bovine neuroendocrine secretory protein 55 (NESP55) ELISA kit is used to quantify NESP55 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, body fluid, and tissue homogenate of bovine, providing data to support research in a wide range of areas, including endocrinology, epigenetic regulation, obesity, and others.
