Assay Principle:
TBARS and TBA react at high temperatures and under acidic conditions to form pink compounds whose concentration is linearly related to the concentration of TBARS in the sample. TBARS concentration can be calculated by measuring the fluorescence values at the excitation wavelength of 520 nm and emission wavelength of 550 nm.
