Specification
Description:
Rat medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase (ACADM) ELISA kit (3.12-200 ng/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing rat ACADM levels with a detection range of 3.12-200 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.6 ng/mL.
Background:
ACADM is an enzyme that catalyzes the first step of mitochondrial fatty acid oxidation. It may serve as a target to regulate fatty acid metabolism for the treatment of obesity, cancer, and other related diseases.
Formula Weight:
47,020 Da
Assay Principle:
A double sandwich elution technique is used in this experiment. The pre-coated antibody is a monoclonal antibody against rat ACADM, and the detection antibody is a biotin-labeled polyclonal antibody. Samples and biotin-labeled antibodies are added to the ELISA plate wells and washed with PBS or TBS. After the reactants are washed with PBS or TBS, they are colored with TMB substrate, which turns blue when catalyzed by the enzyme peroxidase, and finally turns yellow in the presence of acid. The shade of color is positively correlated with the detection factor in the sample.
