Rat C reactive protein (CRP) CLIA kit

Specification

Description: Rat C reactive protein (CRP) CLIA kit is a CLIA kit assay for the detection of rat CRP level. The range of the assay is 0.14-100 ng/mL.
Background: CRP has a variety of functions related to host defense, including the ability to interact with DNA and histones and to remove nuclear material released by damaged circulating cells, and the promotion of agglutination, phagocytosis, bacterial cysts, and complement fixation through calcium-dependent binding to phosphocholine.
Formula Weight: 10,415 Da
Assay Type: Double-antibody sandwich
Assay Principle: The microtiter plate included in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific for CRP. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells along with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for CRP. Avidin conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP) is then added to each microtiter well and incubated. A mixture of substrates A and B is then added to produce glow emission kinetics. After development, the intensity of the emitted light is proportional to the level of CRP in the sample or standard.
Assay Target: CRP
Target Species: Rat
Research Area: Inflammation; Obesity
Sample Type: Serum; Plasma; Tissue homogenates; Cell lysates; Cell culture supernates; Other biological fluids
Detection Range: 0.14-100 ng/mL
Sensitivity: 0.05 ng/mL
Precision (Intra-assay): CV<10%
Precision (Inter-assay): CV<12%
Cross-reactivity: No significant cross-reactivity or interference was observed.
Applications: Rat C reactive protein (CRP) CLIA kit is used to detect rat CRP levels in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluid samples by chemiluminescent immunoassay.
Storage: Store at 2-8°C.
