Assay Principle:
The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific for ADRB2. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells along with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific for ADRB2. Avidin conjugated to HRP is then added to each microplate well and incubated. Upon addition of the TMB substrate solution, only the wells containing ADRB2, the biotin-conjugated antibody, and the enzyme-conjugated avidin will show a color change. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 10 nm. The concentration of ADRB2 in the sample is then determined by comparing the OD of the sample to a standard curve.
