Mouse adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) ELISA kit (12.35-1000 pg/mL, 4.38 pg/mL)

Specification

Description: Mouse adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) ELISA kit (12.35-1000 pg/mL, 4.38 pg/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing mouse ACTH levels with a detection range of 12.35-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 4.38 pg/mL.
Background: ACTH stimulates the adrenal glands to release cortisol. Defects in POMC may be associated with susceptibility to obesity (OBESITY). It is a condition characterized by an increase in body weight beyond the limitations of skeletal and physical requirements, as a result of excessive accumulation of body fat. Defects in POMC are the cause of pro-opiomelanocortinin deficiency (POMCD). Affected individuals present early-onset obesity, adrenal insufficiency, and red hair.
Formula Weight: 26,707 Da
Assay Principle: The kit is based on the ACTH antibody-ACTH antigen interaction (immunosorbent) and the HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ACTH antigen targets in samples.
ELISA Type: Competitive inhibition
Assay Target: ACTH
Target Species: Mouse
Research Area: Hormone research; Metabolites; Signaling pathway; Glucose homeostasis; Regulation of appetite; Obesity
Sample Type: Serum; Plasma; Other biological fluids
Detection Range: 12.35-1000 pg/mL
Sensitivity: 4.38 pg/mL
Cross-reactivity: No significant cross-reactivity or interference was observed.
Stability: 12 Months
Applications: Mouse adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) ELISA kit (12.35-1000 pg/mL, 4.38 pg/mL) is designed for the in vitro quantitative analysis of ACTH levels in mouse serum, plasma, and other biological fluid samples.
Storage: Store at -20°C (antibodies, standard, streptavidin-HRP), 4°C (TMB) and room temperature (96-well plate).
