L-Lactate assay kit (Fluorometric)

Specification

Description: L-Lactate assay kit (Fluorometric) is a metabolic assay kit for the rapid and sensitive detection of L-lactate. The detection limit is 1 μM.
Background: Under hypoxic or anaerobic conditions, lactate is produced by lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). Therefore, monitoring lactate levels is a good indicator of the balance between tissue oxygen demand and utilization, and is useful in the study of cellular and animal physiology.
Assay Type: Quantitative assay
Assay Principle: Based on the lactate oxidation reaction catalyzed by lactate dehydrogenase, the NADH formed in the reaction reduces the probe to a highly fluorescent product. The fluorescence intensity of this product is measured at Ex/Em = 530/585 nm and is proportional to the concentration of lactic acid in the sample.
Assay Target: L-Lactate
Target Species: Universal
Research Area: TCA cycle; Obesity research; Food safety and analysis
Sample Type: Serum; Plasma; Cell culture media
Kit Components: Assay buffer; Enzyme A; NAD solution; Enzyme B; Probe; Standard
Detection Limit: 1 μM
Reaction Time: 60 min
Stability: 6 months
Applications: L-Lactate assay kit (Fluorometric) is used for quantitative determination of L-lactate (L-lactic acid) and evaluation of drug effects on its metabolism.
Storage: Store at 2-8°C.
