Assay Principle:
The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific for ADRB3. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells along with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific for ADRB3. Avidin conjugated to HRP is then added to each microplate well and incubated. Only wells containing ADRB3, biotin-conjugated antibody, and enzyme-conjugated avidin will show a color change after the addition of TMB substrate solution. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is then measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm ± 10 nm. The concentration of ADRB3 in the sample is determined by comparing the OD of the sample to a standard curve.
