Specification
Description:
Human adenosine deaminase-like protein (ADAL) ELISA kit (0.313-20 ng/mL, 0.188 ng/mL) is a ready-to-use ELISA kit for analyzing human ADAL levels with a detection range of 0.313-20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL.
Background:
ADAL exhibits deamination activity towards N6-substituted purine nucleotide analogs and plays a role in purine metabolism.
Formula Weight:
37,362 Da
Assay Principle:
This ELISA kit utilizes a competitive ELISA method. The microtiter plate provided in this kit is pre-coated with an antibody specific for human ADAL. During the reaction, the human ADAL in the sample or standard competes with a fixed amount of biotin-labeled human ADAL for sites on the pre-coated monoclonal antibody specific for human ADAL. Excess binders and unbound samples or standards are washed off the plate, and then HRP-streptavidin is added to each microtiter well and incubated. TMB substrate solution is then added to each well. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at 450 nm. The OD of the sample is then compared to a standard curve to determine the concentration of human ADAL in the sample.
