Fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) magnetic fluorescence assay kit is a magnetic fluorescence assay kit for detecting the level of rat FGF21 in the range of 0.2-200 pg/mL.

Assay Principle:
Analyte-specific antibodies are pre-coated on colored microparticles. The microparticles, standards, labeled antigens, and samples are pipetted into the wells, and the immobilized antibodies bind to the analyte of interest. The biotin-labeled analyte of interest and the unlabeled analyte of interest (standard or sample) undergo a competitive inhibitory reaction with the pre-coated analyte-specific antibody of interest. After washing to remove unbound material, Streptavidin-PE is added to each well. A final water wash removes unbound Streptavidin-PE, and the microparticles are resuspended in a buffer and read with a fluorescence spectrum analyzer. The value displayed is inversely proportional to the concentration of the analyte of interest in the sample.
